4th of July Events & Fireworks in Palm Springs
City of Coachella Independence Day Celebration | July 3 @ 6PM
Start the celebration early in Coachella! Bring the whole family down to Bagdouma Park on Wednesday evening to celebrate Independence Day in Coachella with carnival rides, games, food vendors, and live music. The celebration starts at 6PM with an exciting fireworks finale at 9PM.
VillageFest | July 4 @ 7PM
If you’re looking for something to do on the 4th of July that’s not the typical park picnic with fireworks, head over to Downtown Palm Springs for VillageFest! This weekly outdoor street fair offers everything from live entertainment to food trucks, a mini farmers market, and all sorts of handcrafted gifts and goodies. While you’re strolling through the market, you can stop in at any number of local shops and restaurants that line the block, too!
4th of July at the Ballpark with Palm Springs Power Baseball | July 4 @ 6PM
It doesn’t get more American than baseball, hot dogs, and fireworks! Enjoy all three on the 4th of July at Palm Springs Stadium in this annual tradition. Palm Springs Power takes on the PSCL All-Stars for this Independence Day game, with gates opening at 4:30PM for the festivities. Fireworks start at 9PM. When it comes to 4th of July events in Palm Springs, this one is always very popular, so be sure to get your spot early!
Palm Desert Independence Day Celebration | July 4 @ 7:30PM
Celebrate Independence Day at Palm Desert Civic Center Park with festivities including a free outdoor concert and 20-minute fireworks display. This year, the celebration includes food trucks and vendors, and you’re also welcome to pack a picnic for the park (just leave the alcohol and portable barbeques at home).
4th of July Independence Day Celebration at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage | July 4 @ 9PM
Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage brings back its annual Fourth of July Independence Day Celebration this year with DJs, giveaways, and promotions leading up to a phenomenal fireworks display in Rancho Mirage. As always, admission and parking are free! Get ready to tailgate as you enjoy one of the desert’s favorite fireworks displays.
Jazz in the Pines by Idyllwild Arts | July 4 @ 5PM
Here’s another fun alternative to fireworks! If you haven’t been up to Idyllwild yet, this is the perfect chance to explore this lovely mountain town just outside of Palm Springs. Their Jazz in the Pines concert series marks its 30th (and final!) year this summer. Enjoy live jazz performances by both legendary jazz giants and students alike.
Independence Day Block Party in Downtown Indio | July 5 @ 5PM
Celebrate the 4th of July into the weekend with this Independence Day block party in Downtown Indio! If you haven’t been to Downtown Indio in a minute, you’re in for a treat! This area is undergoing a major revitalization and this Independence Day Block Party is going to be a great way to experience Indio!
Enjoy food trucks, bounce houses, carnival games, line dancing, and a patriotic drone show at 9PM. This block party is free to attend, too!
Desert Hot Springs Fireworks Spectacular | July 5 @ 6PM
The celebration continues on Friday night with a Fireworks Spectacular in Desert Hot Springs! Enjoy music, food vendors, and a fireworks display (starting at 9:15PM) at Mission Springs Park.
